EXPERIENCE
9/1/2006 TO PRESENT Mount Holyoke College South Hadley, MA
DIGITIZATION CENTER COORDINATOR, LIBRARY INFORMATION AND TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
• Created and established an interdepartmental electronic reserve system, based on a backed up repository system, that integrates with the course management platform, Sakai. Continue support, management, production, training and outreach. Implementing Metadata techniques for ease of location. US Copyright law applied. The e-reserves repository yearly includes an estimated 120 faculty, 200 courses and thousands of readings. Some assets are migrated from varying courses or delivered electronicly. • Created, managed, cataloged, and produced a successful electronic board book system for Mount Holyoke Colleges Board of Trustees. • Established and implement digitization standards, workflow, and education on the value of metadata, for faculty research, presentations, and publications. • Produced Archival master and derivative files for digital preservation of MHC’s Archives and Art Museum. • Member of the Digital Asset Management team to advise and implement best practices for the preservation and management of Mount Holyoke’s digital material • Advise and produce digital video for administrative offices and classroom support • Member of the Five College Digital Resource collaborative • Created, established and continued management of a campus poster printing service. This service was provided by a collaboration with the Astronomy Department and a grant from NASA. • Hire, manage, train and support a team of 6 student workers. • Served on the team to asses commercial video stream for course support.

• Co-taught with Elisa Lanzi, Art Information Mangement Specialist from Smith College’s Imaging Center, a 2009 Digital Asset Practicum for the METRO library organization in New York City.
• Presented at the NITLE 2008 D-Space meeting on Digitization best practices, Puget Sound University.

• The Chicago Albumen Works is a vintage media printing and archival digital duplication conservation lab. Clients are primarily national and international archives, museums and universities. • Duties included but not limited to: • Workflow management, High resolution scanning and metadata proccessesing, LVT negative production, quality control, image management, project tracking, employee training and creation of instructional material, archival large format ink jet printing, customer relations, pricing and project biding. • Worked with one of a kind, rare and valuable, glass, nitrate and acetate negatives form the late 19th century to contemporary artists. High-end copy work in black and white and color, all formats of negative duplication and fine archival black and white printing, production job delegation, testing of equipment and process and preventative maintenance. • Selected Projects: The University of Illinois ( The Carl Sandburg Collection), Lazlo Maholy-Nagy, Man Ray, The National Archives, The National Park Service, The Library of Congress, The Metropolitan Opera, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of Modern Art, The Philidelphia Museum of Art, The LbJ Presidential Library, The Connecticut State Library, The Norman Rockwelll Museum.
